CLP
The CLP Regulation (Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 1272/2008) is a system that introduces uniform criteria for classifying substances and mixtures in terms of their hazards to human health and the environment, based on the Globally Harmonized GHS System. The GHS system was introduced as a standardization of many classification and labeling systems for chemical products used all over the world.
The CLP Regulation complements the REACH Regulation and replaces Directives 67/548 / EEC (DSD Directive on substance classification) and 1999/45 / EC (DPD Directive on preparations classification).
The provisions of the above regulation define the rules:
» informing about hazards;
» labelling;
» packaging of products.
